It’s day 2 of my #40to40 and today is all about THEIR perspective.
Before you go into any #negotiation you need to think about the situation from THE OTHER PERSON’S perspective. Put yourself in their shoes and ask yourself WHY would they want to engage with you. What’s in it for them? Start there and you’ll likely get a lot further than thinking about “me” all the time. You’ll get what you want if you can frame it in a way that’s appealing to them.
